Our Orlando Terrific 10
Here are our favourite things to see and do when on vacation in Orlando
Some are well know, some not so well known. Have a look around as we have included photos, videos, information and links.
They are in no particular order.
1. Discovery Cove
Discovery Cove theme park is a unique, adventurous kind of theme park set in a lush paradise in Orlando, Florida, which has tropical vibes and once in a lifetime activities to experience with your family and friends. It is perfect for the summer season, as there are many fun water-related activities, like swimming with dolphins, snorkelling, water rides and spending time with animals up-close and many more. And best of all there’s a daily limit of about 1300 guests in the resort so it never ever feels crowded.
Have An Amazing Experience Swimming With a Bottlenose Dolphin:
If you and your loved ones are crazy about dolphins, then know this, you get to swim with these adorable beauties and have playful activities to perform with them in the water. Theres a 30 minute interactive experience with a small group of other guests and a trainer. You learn about dolphin behaviour and communication and then have a memorable dorsal fin deepwater swim back to the shallow water. You’ll be able to kiss and hug your dolphin friends. To be able to experience this, you must accompany your child who is 6-12 years of age and also have the option of booking different packages for this opportunity.Spending Time on White Sand Beaches and Tropical Lagoons:
Are you planning on getting that perfect summer tan on a beach? Why not visit Discovery Cove’s white sand beaches and tropical lagoons to have just the perfect environment and atmosphere to relax and let the sun give you that glowing tan? There is a great set of beach benches right in front of the water where you can swim, get tanned and have a mini picnic with your family. But there’s so much to do don’t forget to relax – you’re on vacation – and theres no better way to do this than to take a snooze in a hammock under wafting palm trees
